Unconditional loving care for your pet ...
Peace of mind for you.

When is Pet Sitting Best for You?
Pet-sitting services are a great alternative to boarding and for some animals, it is the best option. All pets are different and what works well for one might not be a good choice at all for another. Consider in-home pet-care if:

  • your pets do not do well with large groups of animals. Though many dogs seem to like the social aspects of a boarding kennel, shy, aggressive or nervous dogs may be stressed by groups. Cats and birds can be intimidated by other animals as well.
  • your pet has separation anxiety when away from his own home. While many pets, especially dogs, enjoy new experiences, some feel much more secure at home.
  • your pets do not have all the vaccinations required for boarding. For the protection of all the dogs in a kennel, a bordatella (kennel cough) innoculation is required twice a year and other vaccines must be given annually. Owners of dogs and cats that have had bad reactions to vaccinations in the past may prefer not to vaccinate as often and boarding is not an option for them.
  • your pet is old or has health problems. "Senior citizens" are sometimes happiest when their routines and surroundings are constant. And pets who require special health care may also be better off at home.
  • you have multiple pets and it is more convenient or economical to have someone come in and care for them;
  • you simply like knowing that your pets are at home in familiar surroundings. You don't have to worry about getting them to a boarding facility and arranging pickup. They'll be waiting for you when you walk in the door!

In these cases, animal care experts recommend keeping your pets at home and having a qualified pet-sitter provide care with the same schedule and routine that you maintain for them
